Pilot Scheme on Community Care Service Voucher (CCSV) for the Elderly
Funded by the Lotteries Fund, the Social Welfare Department (SWD) launched the Second Phase of the Pilot Scheme on Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly (The Pilot Scheme) in October 2016 to implement the Pilot Scheme in 18 Districts. The Pilot Scheme adopts the ‘money-following-the-user’ and ‘affordable users pay’ principles to subsidise eligible elderly persons to make use of the Community Care Service Vouchers to purchase suitable community care services from Recognised Service Providers to support them aging in place. SWD will invite eligible elderly persons on the Central Waiting List for Subsidised Long Term Care Services to participate in the Pilot Scheme. For details, please browse the homepage of SWD (https://www.swd.gov.hk/en/index/site_pubsvc/page_elderly/sub_csselderly/id_psccsv/).
